Christies Claws

    This weeks art was inspired by the billy Joel song "You may be right" as performed by glee. I was sat there thinking in my train of though who said bananas have to be yellow. Who said you cant wear neon pink, blue bows and glitter together. So as the song says " but it might just be a lunatic your looking for" There for this bright crazy mani was born!

   Colours used today are Chinaglaze : Pool Party, Sally Hensens : Kiwi Bikini and Chinaglaze: Nova. The banana design is used from Cheeky : Home Sweet Home (Jumbo 7). Bow is from poundland; 12 bows come in a pack :)

   Now this kinda post ill pop up now and again of my old nail art pieces Ive done . First off my favourite nail from last year . This includes one of my favourite nail colours W7 Sandstone a muddy peach, this is defo a one coater and gives a great base to other oranges which are to thin or florescent.
    The leopard pattern is used with pink tease nail art brush and pens. Unfortunately there is no names for this but they're just your bog standard red and white.

    This mani uses the classic colours of black, red and gold. i wanted to us my MOYOU plate again without a green/blue theme . It reminds me of a 1920's flapper girl, very rose of Downton Abbey yet i though of it during the new Mr Selfridges !

   Colours used in this are M&S: black (YO) as a base,  then China glaze : Lubu Heels over the top. Next is Sally Hensens: Cherry Drop on the pinkie and index finger. Fun story to go with that one, i went on my work break to buy cleaning products for the shop and came out with cherry drop after seeing it for a £1! FYI i did also get the cleaning products to i didn't just go back to work with cherry drop, that would of been Alwark and a half!! finally Rimmel : Posh Trash for the printing. One of  my favourite colours ever.

  Welcome to my first nail art post ! This first nail art has been created with the MOYOU sailor plate 04. i decide to treat my self with my Christmas money ! Although I'm sure like many nail artist i had a good five plates i haven't touched yet... One of the main reasons for buying the plate was that i fell in love with the tentacle print i use in this design.
     Chinaglaze:I'm With The Lifeguard is a lovely shimmery green in the bottle. Yet in some lights its almost neon . I used MUA: Pistachio Ice Cream, sponging Chinaglaze:I'm With The Lifeguard. then using a doting tool all over . finally printing with MUA: Mud Pie .

Welcome to my blog!

 So you've found my new blog , i don't quite know where to start. well first off Ive started this blog as a new years resolution to do something with my life other an sit in front of four weddings and play Pokemon! In the last two years Ive become interested in nail art and my polish collection like many a girl has grown. there for the only natural progression is to blog my designs . Ive got a lot from 2013 stacked up . I'm sure as time goes on we will all get to know one another better and this will become a happy place of nerds, cats and nail art!
